Akihiko was a primary writer on several episodes of Iron Leaguer - both original series and OVA - and contributed to many of the scripts on the show. Listed on his website as 'Iron Leaguer Novels', the following are the original, untranslated works that originated from the pre-production stages of Iron Leaguer. These are organized into a 'first season' and a 'second season'; while the 'first season' deals with character backstories, the 'second season' is written as an unrealized leadup to the OVA. They're not canon, but they can give us a good look at the thoughts behind the show.
Surprise surprise, a dedicated fan (who, I don't know) has actually tried to translate these works! However, with no offence to the original translator, these are... Poor translations, to say the least. But they're enough to get the gist across, and for that are incredibly useful.
