The 2023 Iron Leaguer blu-ray came with a nifty booklet, which included both references and, crucially, interviews! While these are untranslated in the form I'm uploading them, even a basic google translate reveals some very nifty things! For instance, the possiblity of a main character dying that never came to fruition...
